Lately I've been an idiot and making some really stupid photos. I think my sCRAP book will get bigger than ever >__>....

First I have to say we are all our own worst critiques when it comes to looking at our photography, or our art. This photograph you took has some very dramatic effects coming from the use of the darkest shadows at the bottom. The flowers seem to create a gradient effect of their own with the dark purple, to lilac, to lavender, a difference in the color values. The yellow only gives it a focal point for the viewer to start from and work their way outward from the "center". The differences in shapes of the flowers also helps to add to the distinctive gives it great line movement. The visual effect on the large purple flower actually looks and gives it the appearance of it being textured.

Overall, this is a very awesome shot. I love it.
