Great balance, contrast and depth. The long cool shadows, alluding to the time of day, enhance the feeling I get from it, ~of a quiet, stiff cold, offset by the crunching of footsteps cautiously making their way on hard snow, to take this picture.
I noticed also that the colors of the sky are divinely reflected in the colors and shadows on the snow, unifying all the elements, into one appealing, pictorial view.
It is amazing that you got this with your phone. I can only imagine how still you would have had to be and how cold you got, to get this!
